PapaWill Restaurant's Lomi

Lomi Super Jumbo for P180.00

Heavent Sent! This was what came into my mind when this huge bowl of Lomi was delivered to our table last Sunday. We were already tired from the long hours of travel (Bicol tour), and the rain was already starting to fall...  then this... perfect! :)

It was already dinner time then when Kuya Mike, our tour driver, suggested to eat Lomi instead of the usual fastfoods. We were then in the vicinity of San Juan Batangas. He brought us to PapaWill Restaurant

The place is clean and homey. I think it is a family-run resto because the ones that served our foods are teenagers. I think they are the grandchildren of the old woman who cheerfully assisted us that night (sorry, was not able to inquire much since we were really in a rush that time).

I really love their Lomi! Even my daughters love it too! And because the serving is too big, the five of us (our driver, included), were not able to finish it all. May take-out pa kami! :) I really wish they have a resto like this in Taguig. Mura na, masarap pa! :)

Aside from Lomi, PapaWill Restaurant also offers other menu like Silog Meals, Goto and Bulalo. So if you are within the area of San Juan, Batangas, do try this resto and you won't regret it. As for their exact location, do ask their friendly neighborhood but I think it is along General Luna St. ;D

Have a Nestea Summer

Good news everyone!

With the coming of the summer season, Nestea, one of our family's favorite powder drink, has something cool to offer to all its loyal customers!

Actually, this is not the first time that they offer this kind of promo wherein you can get a free pitcher for a purchase of 20 pieces of Nestea.

But, what really excites me about this promo is the fact that you can now personalize the free pitcher that comes with your purchase! This is really very timely since this can be another fun way to enjoy the kids' vacation. I really can't wait to enjoy this activity with my daughters! :)

So, what are you waiting for? Go to the nearest supermarket and grab your Nestea pack now! Collect all 8 designs! :)

Teresita's of San Fernando

Last Thursday, I brought my younger child with me at the office as she no longer have classes that day. It is really not often that I tag along my daughters with me at the office since my workplace is really not that much conveniently accessible. Her ate was not able to come with us since she still has classes that day.

Lunchtime came and I asked my daughter where she wanted to eat and she just shrugged her head and uttered "Kahit saan po". So, off to SM Manila we go!

I showed her the available fast food chains and restaurants inside the mall, and I am just glad that she agreed to try out Teresita's of San Fernando. Ever since that restaurant opened, I have really been wanting to check it out but I was not able to get a chance to do so and so I was really happy that my daughter was very willing to try it out. :)

The menu offered by Teresita's are comparable to those of Razon's, expectedly because they are both showcasing Pampanga delicacies. One striking difference that I noticed is the ambience. Teresita's offered a more homey and light atmosphere, while Razon's offers a more classier feel (well, sort of). :)

Pancit Palabok - P90.00
My daughter ordered Palabok. We both love this variety of pancit noodle!

As for me, I tried their Sisig. Each serving is good for two persons. I just ordered for 2 cups of rice as it doesn't come with a rice. An order of rice costs P15.00.

Sisig - P150.00
Both the Palabok and the Sisig tasted great! It both passed my expectations and that of my daughter, especially the Sisig, she really enjoyed the taste. In fact she's the one who got the bigger share! :)

For dessert, we really wanted to try their halo-halo but we already feel bloated, so we just opted to try their cheesecake. Expectedly, we loved their cheesecakes too. The taste is almost the same with that of Lemon Square, only much cheesier and tastier!

Cheesecake - P15.00 each
I spent a total of P310.00 for our lunch, not bad considering that we really enjoyed the experience. We will surely come back to this restaurant to try out their other menus. In fact, my officemates and I already planned to dine in there sometime soon!

Teresita's by San Fernando is located at the basement of SM Manila. For more information, you can check out their website on this link: http://www.teresitasofsanfernando.com/
